The first-ever Chief Minister Dialysis card program, headed by CM Punjab, was approved during Tuesday’s meeting. The scheme, developed under Maryam Nawaz’s guidance, aims to expedite treatment for dialysis patients.
The meeting discussed the distribution of complimentary medications and the implementation of numerous Hemodialysis units in various locations throughout Punjab. Providing Rs 1 million for every dialysis patient:
CM Maryam Nawaz has raised the budget for the CM Dialysis Program Card by Rs 1 million to cover expenses such as treatment, medication, and tests for each dialysis patient.
The government has allotted Rs 8.5 lakh per person for dialysis treatment, with an additional Rs 1.5 lakh designated for medication and testing for those suffering from kidney disease.
Expansion of Dialysis Units in the Province:
Furthermore, a consensus has been reached to increase the number of dialysis units in all areas of Punjab, with the aim of alleviating the suffering of patients. The Punjab Healthcare Commission department was directed to enforce the SOPs in dialysis institutes and to monitor the centers across Punjab.
Free Dialysis Medications And Services:
Maryam Nawaz also noted that free medication and services are available to patients not only in Punjab, but also in other provinces. This includes free dialysis services and medication, which are provided by the Punjab government to patients in Sindh, Balochistan, and other provinces.

The Chief Minister of Punjab stressed the importance of uninterrupted dialysis therapies, which will be maintained at all times to prioritize the health and well-being of patients.

The meeting also covered updates on the progress of Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital development and ongoing projects such as PIC-II and Nawaz Sharif Hospital of Cardiology in Sargodha. The CM Pakistan has instructed for PIC-II to be transformed into a modern hospital with cutting-edge technology and advanced treatments for cardiac ailments.

Agricultural Minister Announced Kisan Cards Allotments:
According to Agriculture and Livestock Minister Ashiq Hussain Kirmani, the CM Punjab’s Kissan Card has received 1.4 million applications, of which 495,000 have been approved. The Kissan card was also able to facilitate a total purchase of approximately Rs 21 billion for farmers.
9,253 out of the total 9,500 Farmers have received their Letters for the Green Tractor scheme. Those who wish to receive their tractor must make their payment at the Banks by December 5. The peasant is required to deposit their share of payment at their designated bank branch in order to receive their tractor.
